STEAMLabs Hackney: Projects

 STEAMLabs Online Videos:

During the pandemic lockdown, Elevate produced a series of fun videos for children and their parents to use. The first examined shadows while the second looked at which shape was the strongest; was it the square, the circle or the triangle? Following on from the strongest shape was an investigation into how bridges make use of the strongest shape to build the strongest bridges. The fourth video demonstrated how to make a simple pinhole camera, something first developed during the Golden Era of Islam. Finally, we just got messy with some chemistry making fizzing concoctions to excite the playful children amongst us.
