STEAMLabs Hackney: Projects
Working with your community…
STEAMLabs Hackney has been working within the local community to provide challenging STEAM activities for all. Our aim is to encourage children who may not get the same opportunities as some of their peers, to engage with STEAMLabs on a project which should be fun but also stimulating. We ran a short project with the Webb Estate to build go-karts, we uploaded some STEAMLabs projects so that children could try projects at home during lockdown, we’ve been successful in being awarded grants which has helped us reach out to vulnerable groups within Hackney by running subsidised holiday clubs.
