After studying Medical Physics at university, I worked as a radiotherapy physicist at several central London hospitals including The Royal Marsden and St Bartholomew’s. During that time, I also became a chartered scientist. I have spent the last 5 years working at my children’s primary school where I gained my HLTA qualification. I had the opportunity to teach small groups as well as whole classes, and particularly enjoyed engaging the children in science.

I started Elevate, and now STEAMLabs Hackney, to give the children in the local community every advantage in gaining a good grounding in STEAM subjects within a safe, fun environment

I am currently also a STEM Ambassador with STEM Learning. Along with a network of around 30,000 other STEM Ambassadors across the country I am passionate about enthusing young people and communities in science. I offer my time to help bring STEM subjects to the fore and demonstrate their value both in life as well as in potential future career opportunities.
