STEAMLabs Hackney: ElectricLab Workshop

Children will explore where electricity comes from and how it works. They will experiment with circuits by adding switches and bulbs, both in series and parallel, and measure the voltages and currents using a multimeter. They will make a living “Operation” game, with one of each group being the patient, and use what they’ve learned already about circuits and switches.
